You say you had a bad crank,was it just worn and needed grinding or was a bearing burned out? If a bearing was out,the turbo might have eaten some metal trash that was in the oil gallerys,or was just worn out and chose that moment to fail. Also may pay to check that the turbo oil drain pipe is not clogged up. It can take some hard work to burn the motor oil out of the exhaust system. You really should work that new engine hard to seat the rings. Too much cold running and light load could ruin the rebuild.
