Meanthony A couple of years ago I repaired a Buick V-6 With some of the same problems except the red hot manifold. This ended up being a fuel injector. The only way I found this problem was to run a resistance check on each seperate injector and at the same time [ blow cold air on the injector then blow hot air on it ] By doing this I got a major change in resistance on one injector. All 6 injectors were replaced at this point. The hot and cold tool that is perfect for this test is Snap-On number YA862 they call it a choke tester. page E29 in catalog 800. Jim WJ
