From 58 to 62 USAF Bergstorm AFB - 43151E AFSC Jet ACFT General over two engines MECH . That means I worked on B-52 D's and KC-135 A . I changed & rigged flight controls & landing gear systems . Also helped maintained 3 C-47 & 3 T-33 support ACFT . Did rigging on all C47 's on base no one else would attempt it . Loved the work but hated SAC . while in AF got private AC & Engine Card to work on AC and Certfy safe to fly when I got out I found that card and $0.10 would get you a cup of coffee . The air port repair shops would hire you for $3.00 hour use your card and charge $ 15.00 Hour per your labor . This was in 62 . I just tore card up droped in file 13 .
