When I was in the USAF I flew as a crewmember on cargo aircraft. We made a stop at Guam to refuel. This was in 1968. Before we left Wake Island they told us we would have to be on the ground by 11:30 in Guam. At around 11:50 the landscape came alive with moving aircraft. I watched 52 B-52s take off. They rolled down the runway one min. apart as they headed to Vietnam. A site and sound I will never forget.
