HI Jim;
This area is in a National Park, so there are real tight planning regulations on what can be built. Really wouldnt want to have yellow painted shed to spoil the view.
All areas have planning regulations for houses & buildings. Its a small island, and although the towns do have some awful looking buildings, they try to keep the countryside looking nice.
