Because I don't wear a seatbelt, and if you don't wear a seatbelt, the rollbar isn't going to do anything for you, except mabey pin you under it when you roll. Realistically, mabey 3% of us wear seatbelts on farm tractors? In all my years on a tractor I've only ever seen one person willingly wear a belt. I wear it in my skid steer because nothing functions without it, but it's doubtful if I'd wear it if I didn't have to. Beyond that, roll bars are often in the way of one thing or another. I don't remove them, but I wouldn't bother installing one either. I'm not much for the statisticts and probabilities of the nanny state that says we're safer with a roll bar either. Safety is no accident. Be safe and you'll never need the roll bar. Again, to each their own. Take care. Rod
