Donkeys wil work on coyotes for sure. When we had cattle we had a couple jack we were gonna leave in with the cows. Problem was he would chase the cows! We put him in the field between the cows and the coyotes and never had a problem with them although I saw him fight a few. Pretty impressive. Been around horses mmost of my life and always see them turn around and kick, dang donkeys will try to stomp a coyote with their front hooves!
