My dad put in 8 acres of grapes and used a ferguson TO30 to put in every post. The TO30 isnt much different then the ford. Just be caresful when your going down and pick it up every 8-10in to clear out any dirt, and if it starts bouncing be very careful, it means theres probably a rock there and when it screws itself under the rock the ford wont have the power to pick itself up and youll have to take the auger off and get a pipe wrench on it and unscrew it. Ive watched my dad do this alot. The JD5500N will rip the the rock right out.
