Keep repeating after me, "I have the right to remain silent....... Of course once you move to the south, you lose the "ability" to remain silent. That isn"t your fault - I think it is something in the air.

But I got revenge for both of us. I painted my grill last week, using the kitchen table (appropriately covered)as a work table. By the time the wife got home, I had moved it to the shop. When questioned about the paint odor, I reminded her that I sometimes take a shortcut from the basement to the shop by way of the kitchen. It wasn"t a lie, but rather a statement of a fact not related to the current conversation. I didn"t "say" I had carried a paint project thru the kitchen that particular day! Note: Given your current lack of "ability", you might want to stock your shop with a few cans of beanie-wienies and a box of crakers.
