The Lincoln Town Car was scheduled to dropped at the end of the 2007 model year, but was revived. After assembly ends at Ford's Wixom (Mich.) Assembly Plant in 2007, Ford intends to move Town Car production to Ford's St. Thomas (Ontario, Canada) Assembly Plant. Currently production is scheduled through 2009 or so. By then Ford will have squeezed tha last penny out of the 20+ year old platform. As for the Grand Marquis/Crown Vic being junk, ask the police forces what the think of them, especially the ones that are trying the new Dodge Charger out. So far the intial purchases of the Charger are the ONLY PURCHASES, to many problems to keep them on the road. And while you're at, check out what model of car most taxi companies are using.
