That so refreshing - to know someone else understands the real meaning of 4-wheel drive ! I try to explain to new owners of 4 or all-wheel drive vehicles that all it does is get you into trouble faster if you don't know how to use it . Your vehicle still only has four brakes and four wheels just like a two wheel drive does . The only difference being the tread on the tires might work a bit better on a 4-wheel drive vehicle . You can start moving easier but stopping is the same for everyone more or less . I seldom use it unless I get stuck , not using it keeps the false security away . ...Randy
