I was recently trying to start my 9n. It has the button starter that is mounted in front of the gear shift lever. After about the 6th or 7th time, I pushed the start button and absolutely nothing happened. The engine would not even turn over now. I hooked up jumper cables to the battery thinking that might be it, but to no avail. However, when I would push the start button I could hear my other tractor, the one I was using as a jump, rev down as if power were being pulled from it. Could the silanoid switch have suddenly gone bad? I dont have a clue. Any suggestions would be helpful...Thanks
