Help - eliminating computer files ???

Well, it's off topic I know but I've seen computer help requests here before so here goes. I have a computer here with 6 accounts on it. One of the people who has an account on the computer is no longer accessing the computer and I want to rid the computer of his files. I am the system administrator and I know the password for this particular individual so I have access to everything in there. I realize I could probably take it to a shop and pay an hours labor or so to get it done, but is this something that I could do myself? Your help or suggestions are appreciated.
