this is one I've lost on.$500 bucks ,saw it stroke ,but didn't have a load on it ,,soon as tried to split wood keyway sheared ,,well long story short ,tried to fix keyway issue and snapped gear shaft ..to find out pump was turning WAY overspeed for it's designed rate 20 gpm at 1200rpm's ,,it was running over 2700 and don't think the unit ever worked right..Cylinder leaks when I hooked it to tractor hydraulics ... Should a known to steer clear when I first went to look at it and U joint needed to be replacing before I could even see it run..but I didn't ,so now I got the start to a wood splitter in the yard and something else for the wife to tell be I did wrong!! ![third party image](http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c258/ford3000/IMGP0634.jpg)
