Why would you want to repair a pressurized plastic gasoline line (50 or so PSI) with anything but the correct parts, approved for the job?

Two of us have posted what to look for to make a proper SAFE repair, and surely there's a shop in his area that has one of the kits.

There's ALWAYS someone looking to "cut corners", and I don't think that's a good idea with a pressurized plastic gasoline line!
