You may want to reconsider pulling the backhoe. Alot of states are cracking down on overloaded trucks,small trucks especially.They are holding them to the GCVW on the door plate irreguardless of what it is tagged for. You take that truck,add a 6-7000# trailer,then throw 11-12,000+ lbs of backhoe on it,Somewhere in the neighborhood of 25-27,000 lbs,less the 16K GCVW and you are looking at a 11,000lb overweight ticket,plus whatever else they want to cite you with. Here in Md that would be a $5000+ ticket.
