One thing a person should always try to avaoid is mixing business and money transactions with family. Most of the time one guy or the other is sour because they got ripped off (or so they think) and then there is hard feelings. Sounds like you got the hard feelings anyway.... I helped my dad out alot, of course now its more like him helping me maintain the equipment, but it's still his farm and I just love doing what I've grown up doing. Something I'llalways have good memories of. I go tlucky and my fiance likes the country life and she has a horse. I'll try my damdest to not be just a horse farmer, but if that's all I can ever get I'll be fine with it, as long as I have a chunk of land to call my own and spend time on my tractors.
