your gonna have to take this really slow ,,and as others have stated associate gun with good stuff like food etc ...,but don't go to loud or fast sounds like he/she's had some bad experiences ..I've seen idiots just up n shoot the gun behind their rabbit hound to see if it spooks em ...dog never recovered completely..But that guy was pretty braindead at the best a times.. If you'd a got em as a pup I'd say start with banging pots or slammin doors in the house and making every loud sound associated with something good ,be it food or just praise or play ,,you get the picture ,but If I was in your shoes ,man I'd be real worried he'd take off and never see him again ..TAKE ER SLOW..
