We had a kerosene space heater we used for heat. Kept putting off buying a generator thinking it would come back on about the time I did. Son in law had his welder here over the weekend from work so we had it on the well for water to the cattle. This morning went and bought a geny as the welder went to work with the son in law. So it got about 12 hours work and now it will probably set for 10 years. Oh well the story of my life. Gary

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation.
