Our 1256 has loaded rears and one set of half-moon weights on each side. It's almost helpless in the mud with a bale up front, worse in the ice and snow. Do you have a 3-point? A bale fork works great on the 3-point with a loader up front, you can pick up weight or drop it off when you don't need it.
