That is on there actually, a short wire, with an eyelet for the screw to pass and the male end in the plug, it's got to be something really stupid, I'll be foolin with it some more today, nice out finally ! Some had that metal strap, I recall, it came with the new coil, funny I replaced all the parts except that condensor look alike thing that is tied into the ign module, still does the same thing. A few of the spark plug wires were jumbled after the headers were put on, 2 of us put those one quickly, she was firin and puff'n through the carb, I forgot his side was off, but that has never fried an ign sys, before, I almost remembered the firing order and where #1 was, but had to look it up on the web, straightened the wired out, had it barely running, now no spark, but that cap was burned where the brush contacts the coil though. Something foolish, have to to check everything closely again, replace the plugs etc.
