Lockers are fine IF...........IF you drive with the mindset the vehicle has lockers.
You have to feather the throttle and crank the steering wheel to keep her pointed in the correct direction even through you maybe travelings sideways towards your destination.
There are times when you have gone way farther than a 4WD open vehicle but you have to give up rather than get too sideways.
I drove a Grand National for 15 winters with a Detroit Locker rear diff.
