Saw 2001 Chevy 2500 HD on a used lot today. The truck is 4 door extended cab with Fwd,Duramax diesel with Allison transmisson and asking $22000.00.I drove the truck and it performed well. However a "low coolant" warning light did appear during the drive but,the engine temp gage stayed within the normal range for the rest of the test drive.I mentioned this to the dealer and he said it had a sensor that needed replacing. The truck is very clean and has a new set of tires on it.It also has a hidaway ball installed for a gooseneck.I'm sure the dealer would address the problem with the warning light. Also the truck is showing 123.000 miles.Without the Dodge and Ford fans bashing the Chevy i would like some opinions on this truck and the asking price please.I know the Dodge and Fords are good trucks with good engines but,i just need some honest answers on this truck. THANKS.
