Worst case scenario- he will sue you in small claims court in your home state (he has no jurisdiction over you in his state, unless you have a business presence in, or "significant contacts" with, that state). Even if he wins, he gets only the deposit back, plus minimal filing fees- and would have to travel to your state to do it. Chances of him doing it are slim to none. BTW, I'd be willing to bet he found the cost of shipping would be as much as the tractors are worth, and bailed out. You can sometimes get a "deal" on one tractor, to fill out a load- but 4 is a load by themselves, so no "deals".
