Ford 600 - 1957

Hey Guys, I just bought a home on 12 acres (5 to mow) - I'm having a Ford 600 completely rebuilt for the mowing. My question is on the mower - I want to get a 6ft King Kutter rear discharge finish mower - I know the horsepower rating on a 600 is 30-35 H/P - The mower states it has a 40hp gearbox - Will the 600 be able to run this mower? I also read a rear discharge mower SUCKS horsepower - HELP !! Does the tractor have the power?
