The ice is breaking up on the squishy roads, but we need to go through it to get to the firm stuff. Sure feel for you guys on the hay shortage. To bad fuel is so high to ship hay out there. Looks like we'll have a 100 ton leftover. We have found we could stretch our hay and corn with using dry gluten pellets. Delivered in for $90/ton. 18% protein and energy equal to corn. Much cheaper than feeding distillers from an ethanol plant only 15 miles away. Feed yards are almost all cleaned down to the ceent and new calves on the ground. So yes spring is a comin
