A couple of weeks ago, my lady got a phone call solicitation. She said no thanks and hung up. A minute later it rang again with the same line. She got mad and banged the phone on the desk a few times and yelled get off the line! When it rang a third time, I answered with a cheery "Hello". They asked, "Are you Mr. Janzen?" I said, "Hold on, I'll get him" and layed down the phone. A couple of minutes later I picked up. The tenacious phone rep was still on the line. I said, "Hold on, he'll be right here" and layed the phone back down. When I went back a few minutes later the line was dead. The worst thing you can do is waste their time. No more calls from them. It's really satisfying to win one.
