I worked as a Fire-Rescue professional for 34 years. I saw many
mangled bodies as a result of carelessness and errors in
judgment. That first time there wasn't and accident. Next time
the boy might be a little more bold, or more careless.

We had a saying in the fire service regarding safety: "If it is
predictable, it is preventable". I think you have a moral
responsibility to get involved.
