Yes, I think that's about the size of it. People simply can't be bothered to shift anymore. I hate automatics. I hate driving them. As far as I'm concerned, they're more dangerous than any manual.... but that's just me. I prefer to be in control of what I'm driving instead of floating along. The diehards among us that still prefer manual shifting in trucks, tractors and cars are fewer and further between every day. It's like you've got to be a rebel or something..... Sooo. I won't be buying any newer Gm's, not that I was anyway. Rod
