ford 300 6 again

i had another question about the f150 300ci 6 with the 4 spd tranny. how is the fuel economy. and as for the loud pipes, the truck will mostly be used off the road in fields and only around town driving around. i have an atv and man its probably the loudest one you'll ever hear. but i only open up the throttle on my own land away from civillization. i have respect for other people unlike some others that give us atv riders a bad name. thanks for all your help
