That would probably be a well matched pair. Much less and the tractor will take a beating, and much more and you won't have a 717 any more. You'll have the pieces of a 717. A neighbour of mine ran one with a Ford 7710 which was probably turned to a bit over 100 HP.... and it didn't take long before he twisted the harvester to pieces..... but he's broken 100 pound anvil's.... so go figure.
