We ran a 718 for over 30 years starting out on an IH 856 turbo and later on a 1086. We had lots of extra power but I don't know how much good it did because that machine could only handle so much crop at a time. We finally parked the 718 after one of the bolts holding the shear bar broke which let it get into the knives and made a big mess.
