Do you use a stick to check the fuel level? Check the pickup from the tank. Found that a few times on trucks, line was plugged with bits of wood and the pump sucked air in to the lines which ended up in the filters. Nearly always, I found that the fuel guage was not working and the owner was using dirty sticks to check the fuel level. God Bless, Rex
