I charge $50 an hour for my L285 30 HP Kubota and $65 for my Case LA although that may ho up with $3.00 gallon gas. I also have a $200 Minimum if I have to travel very far like across the street. You can drop the Minimum if you have another job near by or more work for the same without taking the tractor home Or he's a good friend or you like like working for him and its over $150. Just remember it cost more than gas to mow a field you will have to pay for parts that brake and thing that you hit will do damage to your tractor like tires and such. If you hit anything of his its his fault for not removing it from the field or marking it. let the guy know about that some people think its your fault if you run over a buried hydrant or gas line or something of that nature. Walt If in Oregon watch out for the Lanscape police you can't do anything that they want to do themselves like roto-tilling lawns Hey i don't make the stupid laws.
