I would cut it when it needs to get done, Like when it looks bad and shaggy. Your time is valuable and if the guy that owns the land wants it done every week or 2 then charge the $30/hour (kind of giving him a break) Also how far is the field from you? If it is 1/4mile away then dont charge him for driving there but if it is 3 miles or something then charge him drive time too. If it was me I would charge the guy a fair price so that you make money and the guy wants to keep having you cut it for a long time and he feels like he is not getting ripped off. (I think that is a good way to keep a customer) If you have to buy insurance then charge more to cover that expense.
