checked for a colapsed exhaust pipe== had it on a V/8 got so it wouldn't run good at anything above a low RPM found a double wall pipe had colapsed in side sawed a slot in the pipe behind the cat and it cleared up-- sawed out the piece " about 2' " and put in another piece ran find- don't know if this is your prob but worth a try
