well.......the battery appears good, never fails to start the machine and I would think once the engine is running and producing a charge....the battery would then be a moot point? Even yet, when the machine is dead cold...like sitting overnight, when I go to start it, it will shift into neutral just fine. After starting, I can then shift to reverse, back out of the garage and then shift into forward and maybe make it through all the gears before it refuses to shift anymore.
