Oh heck yeah, Went into town, got some 7018AC and planted 'em right on there. The only frustrating thing was that I had to be vigilant in constantly "adjusting my hand" to the unfamiliar rod. If I ever stumble across that old rod that I used to use years ago, I'm gonna buy a pickup load of the stuff. Think you said it was probably 6011 Lincoln rod? Yes, it was a thin-fluxed rod that I used to buy in a 50-lb tin. Loved that stuff! :>) Allan
