I know the flies have something to do with it, but the vet told me it is more of a problem that their skin is light colored around their eyes and the sun (solar) light is what is causing most of my problems. Basically skin cancer of the eyelid. I think he is on to something, becasue I always treat pinkeye, but with some the eye itself is fine, it is the eyelid that gets a growth on it and it spreads quickly after that.
