David, my impression of Queen Elizibeth is much like my opinion of the Britsh people as a whole, and very much the same as you described her. Good natured, interested in the greater good of her country, her subjects, and the world in general. She has a lot of class and dignity. Those are qualities that we NEED and should aspire to. It may well have cost the state of Kentucky a few dollars to have her here, but it wasn't wasted. We did escape a near faux pas when Governor Ernie Fletcher ALMOST forgot her name when presenting the Derby trophy to the winning owner. He said, "the Queen....ah....Elizibeth...er...of England......" A million or so of us Kentuckians held our collective breath for a few seconds on that one!
