When they first started importing the Long copies of the Fiat designed tractors back in the 1970s they were made in Romania( up to 64 hp). A few larger ones were made in Poland but I've never seen but one or two. Presently the Romanian ones are not imported by Long, rumor being they can't meet EPA standards. Long recently sold out, or partly out, to an Indian company and they stupidly changed the name to Farmtrac. Farmtrac tractors are copies, some with modifications, of older Ford tractors. They also have Korean made compact tractors which seem to be quite good. Within the past 2-3 years they have been importing some tractors from Italy made by SAME. These are 4wd tractors of 70-80 hp(I think) and seem to be nice comfortable tractors with plenty of bells and whistles. KEH
