I have seen exactly one bee this spring and it was a very unusual situation. I was sitting on the seed wagon , eating my lunch with the planter book, open on my lap. I was reading the book while eating, when a bee landed on the page. She acted very strange like she was confused. She circled around 3 times inj a counterclockwise direction She then stopped and wiped off all the yellow pollen with her vtwo front feet. The pollen was easily visible on her face. She then flew off. I didn't think to save the pollen. This is a very serious situation and there are lots of theories about what is causing bee hive collapse disorder, including cell phone radiation being the most prominent to date. Odd thing was I was sitting within a hundred yards of a cell phone tower at the time.
