I read that story too. I get a warranty on any tire that I buy or at least a pro-rated warranty. I have read that toothpaste from China has radiator fluid in it and kids toys have Lead in the paint and the seafood has large levels of E-coli bacteria in it and on and on.
But at least you are getting a good bargain price, even if it kills you.
