So I guess that fill port I saw under the bed was for the hydraulic reservoir. Just like mark-mi said, in between the frame rails. The bed raises and lowers OK now, and it drips just a tiny bit of fluid. I'll leave the thing alone for now. If the bed stops raising, I'll worry about it then.
