I asked y'all about a Farmall 504 Diesel a few days ago, Long story short, I bought the tractor. It's a 1964, so I didn't expect not to have to do some work on it. First off, it's missin' one piece of sheet metal. As you can see from the photo, it's the piece that goes under the steering column, below the instrument panel and bolts to the sides. Any ideas where I'd find this piece of sheet metal. Also I need the gauges. None work. Need tach. Where do I find gauges and tach? Glow plugs don't work, I have to start the engine with starting fluid. I need all manuals that are available. From reading posts on YT, some say that some manuals are not what they should be. I don't remember the names, maybe JEN something. I would appreciate a reccomendation on manuals and where to find them. 3 point hitch is a little slow. Where do I check hydraulic fluid, add hydraulic fluid, and what hydraulic fluid should I use? I've looked the tractor over pretty good, the only dipstick I can find is for the engine oil. Thank Y'all Wild Bill Caldwell
