They sell a product called accoustical steel. Basically regular liner panel with lots of tiny holes in it. A friend has it in his shop and it really deadens the sound well. Ask your local lumber yard about it; don't bother at HD or Menards - they'll just look at you funny. Another suggestion I would have is to run a 1x6 treated baseboard around the entire perimiter of the shop. Much easier to clean than having the steel all the way to the floor.
