David in Wales ( and others)- Big Square Bale Handling Infor

David (and others, obviously), I have enjoyed lurking here and really admire your pictures and input on the way they do it "over there." I saw your comment on the square baler recently and I wondered, given the UK's preference for large squares and also its smaller farms, if you have seen a good way to handle large square bales like the bale buggies that are available for large round bales here. In other words, some kind of small trailer with an integral means of loading that can be pulled by a small tractor or quad. I have a Ford 860, which is very useful but I am suspect of its ability to pick up a big square with a bale spear. Regards, Phil Crome
