I been around brown swiss since I was about 16, 20 years ago. I aint ever seen one sail over a fence before. Getting the darn the ol bessies to move is more the issue, this is a herd that has been respected, and any nutty ones turned to burger. Prior to 16 and even since then I was only around holsteins, I dont trust them or like chasing them. If you after milk for the table you'll love the swiss. Any steers you feed plan on increasing the amount of feed, corn, they dont pack on the lb's like a holstein or shorthorn. Swiss are a great breed, well, as long as you dont end up with a descendant of old Moolah,...ohh the awful flashbacks of her, yikes. Good luck.
