I replaced the air bags a few years ago and now they hold air all winter long. Holds air all summer and maybe only add a bit all summer. They say that during the winter make sure you clean off the top of the air bags to keep the chaff from getting moisture and slowly rotting the top of the bag even though they are parked in a shed. The 855 are a better baler compared to the old ones with the bottom chains, sometimes hard to get a good bale started with the chains. I have had a bar come flying out of the top of the baler and land ahead of the tractor....that was scary, that happened when the chain was bad and a one end of the bar broke loose and the other end got caught and finally left go just as it was on top, acted like a sling shot. When I can, I will update to a belt baler.
