Ferrellgas, Amerigas, Empire gas, Heritage gas(a new name for an old company everyone hated) Freeman gas etc all all in cahoots as far as I can determine. I have heard that several of them or more all owned by the same people out of Wyoming or Montana. The prices will vary a few cents and if you want to change company you are faced with a setup fee, new tank rent charges etc. I just installed a new electric furnace and intend to do away with gas. I know the electric companies are regulated by Public Utilities commissions, Many such as ours are cooperatives and will pay dividends when you cash out. We here in this small community at the end of NC get the highest of prices. Also pay tank rent and have to take delivery at their time or pay a 30 cent per gal surcharge. See ya later. Gotta get busy
